Snapshot: SEMgroup planned and managed the 4th Annual Every Child is Sacred 18/18 2007 Child Day Events including the 18/18 2007 Intergenerational Conversation, 4th Annual Honoring and Celebration and the 1st Annual Coming of Age Celebration. The events were presented in partnership with the City of Ottawa, and the Ottawa Youth Commission, UNICEF, Child and Youth Friendly Ottawa, and Black History Ottawa.

Results Delivered: With the strongest attendance outcomes since the inception of the event, SEMgroup developed a unique marketing strategy that attracted over 400 people to two sold-out events. Participating in the program were Mayor Larry O’Brien, Ottawa Police Chief Vern White and Nortel Networks CIO Peter Ashwood Smith. The entire event was complimented by a strong media presence, including a feature story featuring 4 interviews conducted by CTV News. In addition to securing full sponsorship of the Food and Beverage component for the Intergenerational Conversation, the SEMgroup negotiated a 100% waiver of facility rental fees from the two principal venues.
