Canada 2020 and Liberian Association of Ottawa

Snapshot: In collaboration with Canada 2020 and the Liberian Association of Ottawa, the SEMgroup coordinated the key logistics for a Town Hall forum with Africa’s first elected female Head of State, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, whom TIME Magazine also named one of the 100 most influential persons in the world. SEMgroup’s Fred Sherman moderated a lively forum where the president and a panel of senior Ministers fielded audience questions.

Results Delivered: Working with the Prime Minister’s Office and Foreign Affairs, the SEMgroup negotiated through key protocol issues, to deliver a sold-out town hall event at the Hilton Lac-Leamy. Additionally, the SEMgroup was able to secure a substantial price reductions for facility rentals and food and beverages.
