Katherine Saxe

Event Logistics

Katherine Saxe joined the Event Logistics team in 2008, and is responsible for the preparation and execution of strategic event plans for both internal and external events. She is also involved in the management of logistical details around events, including site evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, food and beverage management and on-site administration.

Katherine’s penchant for detail has earned high marks for SEMgroup in the coordination of set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and conference monitoring and meeting activities. Additionally, Katherine coordinates the activities of personnel, subcontractors and vendors as required, and acts as the primary logistics coordinator on-site to ensure a successful event from start to finish.

Katherine’s outstanding organizational and administrative skills have lent to the success of various SEMgroup clients’ events. She has worked on a range of SEMgroup projects for the City of Ottawa, the United Nations Association in Canada, the University of Ottawa and the Canada Peace Festival.
