Espoir Bona

Espoir Bona brings years of event coordination experience coupled with proven abilities in researching, public policy and public issue survey and analysis. A recipient of the Carleton University Presidential Award and Scholarship for earning a 92% admission average, Espoir works with the SEMgroup Communications and Logistics teams in content and data research, collation, analysis and reporting.
Espoir is an alumnus of the coveted House of Commons Page Programme, supporting the Speaker, Members of Parliament and Table Officers. His research competencies were honed through assisting the Clerks in maintaining the House Standing Orders, the Library of Parliament, and conducting studies and surveys for Ipsos-Reid with clients including financial institutions, utility companies and political parties. Espoir has provided Event Coordinator services through Franco-Ouest’s Social Action Committee’s 'Spread the Net' fundraising campaign; as Director of Internal Promotions for Carleton’s Student Government; and diversity awareness activities for Cambridge Students. As an Executive member of the Ottawa Youth Commission, he submitted a policy report to Ottawa City Council; and has worked for the National Gallery of Canada, the Express Newspaper, and the Ottawa Salvation Army Booth Center.
Fluently bilingual, Espoir is completing a degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management with specialization in Social Policy at Carleton University.
